Terms of service for songs and videos

1. Overview
These Terms govern the custom song and music video services ("Services") provided by RanioLab ("we", "us", "our"). By placing an order, you ("Client", "you") agree to these Terms. Please read them before ordering.
2. Services
We create custom original songs and/or music videos from the information you provide. The final product is a digital file (audio in MP3/WAV, video in MP4) delivered electronically by email or a file-sharing link. We do not provide physical products unless agreed in writing.
3. How to order
To place an order you (a) ask for a quote and accept it; (b) complete the creative brief with the details you want in your song; (c) pay in full. Your order is confirmed once payment is received. We will contact you if we need more information before starting.
4. Prices and payment
Every order has its own quote, which sets the price, the currency, what is included and the delivery time. Payment is due in full before production begins. We accept Stripe, PayPal or any other method we indicate. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store your payment information.
5. Production and delivery
The delivery time is the one in your quote. It starts when payment is confirmed and the creative brief is complete. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees; we will tell you promptly if a delay is expected.
6. Creative brief and your responsibilities
The result depends on the information you give. You are responsible for (a) accurate names, details and stories; (b) your preferred music style, mood and any special requests; (c) answering our messages in good time. Late information or feedback may extend delivery.
7. Concept approval
For orders with a video, we send you a concept or mood summary and/or storyboard before full production. Please approve it or ask for changes within 48 hours; if we do not hear from you within 48 hours, we proceed with the proposed concept.
8. Revisions
Each order includes the number of revisions stated in its quote. A revision is a minor adjustment, such as changing words in the lyrics, the mood or tempo, or the video's timing, pace or flow. These are not revisions and may need a new order or a fee: changing the whole genre or style after concept approval; asking for a completely different song concept; changing elements approved at the concept stage. Extra revisions can be bought at a rate agreed before work starts.
9. Refunds
Because the work is custom and personal, sales are final once production has begun. However: (a) if production has not started, you may ask for a full refund within 24 hours of payment; (b) objective errors (a wrong name, or details you clearly gave in the brief) are corrected free of charge; (c) not liking how it sounds after concept approval is not grounds for a refund, but we will work with you within the included revisions. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights consumers have under Italian and EU law.
10. Intellectual property and use
Personal use (unless your quote says otherwise): once paid in full, you receive a non-exclusive, perpetual licence to use the song and/or video for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as private events, personal social media and gifts. You may not use them for advertising, business promotion, monetized content or resale without a commercial licence.
Commercial use (when your quote includes it): a social media commercial licence for monetized social media content, creator channels and business social media pages. It does not cover broadcast TV, radio, paid advertising campaigns or physical retail.
Extended commercial use (add-on): for paid advertising, broadcast TV and radio, branding and promotion, an additional licence is required. Contact us for a quote.
Reselling the song or video as is to third parties is not allowed under any licence. We may show the work in our portfolio, on social media and in promotional material, unless you ask us not to in writing before production begins.
11. Content guidelines
We may decline any order for content that is hateful, discriminatory or promotes violence; defamatory; sexually explicit; or unlawful. If we decline an order, you receive a full refund.
12. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, nor for how third parties (gift recipients, guests, social media platforms) react to or use the content.
13. Communication

14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always on this page; changes apply to orders placed after they are published.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are first settled in good faith; failing that, they go to the competent courts of Macerata, Italy, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers.
